The task was to introduce a cutting edge U. K. line of cosmetic and perfumes. We investigated the most appropriate entry point and made a trip to Hong Kong for launch planning.
With a contract with the British Chamber of Commerce and US Export Assistance Bureau, we obtained key appointments for the visit. We found four importers to compete for the line. We launched the product in Hong Kong at the most exclusive cosmetic name in the region, all within 6 months.
We also attempted to launch in Mainland, in South China but found various restriction that halted the expansion before any funds were wasted. The line is suitable for Hong Kong and a top end exclusive brand is being built today.
