Client was a sign shop owner, in fact the largest store of a very large chain. We were tasked with building a business in LED signs for billboards and event venues.
We investigated and researched manufacturing corridors and arranged meetings with the top manufacturers.
The team visited Asia regional trade shows and toured dozens of factories. I called on a contact from years ago who had expertise in this industry. We set up production for immediate export to the US market.
We made “jumbo-tron” signs and built a successful LED sign business. The business grossed over $1 million in the first few years. Today, not only is the LED sign business still growing, but the original sign business had expanded by twofold.
