After the ’08 trip we joined forces with developers of a new and innovative water filtration system. Focusing on industrial water filtration, these simple designs can be modified for mining operations to clean water.
Field-testing was completed in Oct of 2009 in Honduras. The results proved successful for filtering harmful minerals from drinking and irrigation systems. In 2012 we met with investors in Shanghai. We had a meeting with a private equity firm, and met another government sponsored water expert delegation. The objective is to bring clean water to industrial zones of northwestern China. The filtration system we developed uses local labor and local materials to produce. The application can be used in paper mills, coal and iron ore plants and other water-intensive industrial industries. This project is still in process.
